Portable Flex Stand sample compartment for use with the DELTA handheld XRF analyzer
The Flex Stand for the DELTA handheld XRF analyzer is a lightweight, portable test stand with a shielded sample compartment for bench-top and field testing. The Flex Stand is available in different configurations and can be used with DELTA handheld XRF analyzers placed horizontally or vertically. This newly introduced cost-effective accessory provides a simple test method that can be performed without hands for small samples, standard size sample cups, and bag samples.
Flex Stand: horizontal configuration
In the horizontal configuration, users can directly access the touch screen user interface of DELTA, so there is no need to use a PC. The samples in the test chamber are positioned by an adjustable platform, and the samples in the chamber are fixed by grooves in the chamber and / or wedges with three positions.
Flex Stand: Vertical configuration
In a vertical configuration, the test chamber is firmly attached to the top of the analyzer, keeping the sample above the analyzer's measurement window. When storing the device, the holder of the sample compartment can be stacked on the bottom surface of the base. An optional AC battery adapter for DELTA can be placed on the base for use with the analyzer.
By pushing the DELTA XRF analyzer to the appropriate position and hearing a click, you can easily fix the analyzer and the test chamber together. Push the convenient lever to easily release the fixed analyzer. The material of the test chamber is tungsten-impregnated plastic, which is covered with a magnetic shell and has shielding properties.
